A Safe Experience for You and Yours
As we pivot with the changing climate of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are continuing to offer cinema rentals for families and same household social “bubbles.”
This is the perfect opportunity to safely get out of the house and experience films on the big screen again! Our quaint “jewel box” theater seats only 30 people on a normal night, but we are limiting capacity to 10 to follow safety guidelines.
Find a movie here and fill out the form at the bottom of this page to get started!
Rental Pricing
As public performance rights must be attained for any films shown, licensing fees and rental costs start at $150, depending on the film chosen. If you would like to screen your own film or rent the space for another use (birthday party, etc.), rates start at $90. Fill out the form below for more information.
If any damages are made, you will be charged extra.
What to Expect When You Arrive
Each guest will have their temperature taken and complete a quick check-in. The cinema will be thoroughly cleaned and ready for you 15 minutes prior to showtime.
Safety & COVID-19 Guidelines
Cinema rentals are limited to 10 total guests, giving you the option to seat yourselves at every other chair. In addition, masks are required when moving throughout the cinema. If you are exiting the screening to purchase a drink or to use the restroom, you will need to wear a mask.
There will be hand sanitizing stations throughout the cinema, plus “air scrubbers” to keep clean air circulating during your experience.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Public performance rights must be attained for any films shown. To utilize The Floralee Hark Cohen Cinema, an event holder must give proof that screenings fees have been paid (or waived by the rights owner).
- No outside food is permitted, unless pre-approved for a special event.
- If an event holder wishes to offer free concessions to attendees from our concessions stand, the WVIFF can keep track of all snacks and drinks consumed and provide an invoice for the total cost of concessions following the event.
- A member of the Floralee Hark Cohen Cinema staff will be present for all private cinema rentals and will operate the screening equipment and sell concessions. Unless otherwise arranged, private and independent event holders will need to supply their own staff/volunteers for taking tickets or completing any other tasks beyond what’s mentioned above.
